Ekrem Tekin is an experienced engineer specializing in innovation, entrepreneurship, R&D, and business development. He graduated from Lisbon Technical University in Engineering and Technology Management (Erasmus) and from Gaziantep University in Industrial Engineering in 2012. Following his graduation, Tekin played key roles in founding and managing the technology transfer office and technopark at Gaziantep University. He has led, managed, and contributed as an expert to numerous projects funded by TÜBİTAK, the EU, various ministries, development agencies, and private institutions, receiving multiple awards for his contributions.

In 2021, Tekin was appointed as the General Manager of Gaziantep OSB Technopark. He is also a co-founder of TheBlueRed UK, a digital transformation firm operating internationally, and Fauna Startup Studio, which supports entrepreneurial ideas. Tekin offers consultancy and mentorship to various startups.

Ekrem Tekin, inovasyon, girişimcilik, ar-ge ve iş geliştirme konularında uzmanlaşmış deneyimli bir endüstri mühendistir. Lizbon Teknik Üniversitesi Mühendislik ve Teknoloji Yönetimi (Erasmus) vee Gaziantep Üniversitesi Endüstri Mühendisliği bölümlerinden 2012 yılında mezun olmuştur. Mezuniyetinin ardından Tekin, Gaziantep Üniversitesi’nde Teknoloji Transfer Ofisi ve Teknopark’ın kurulmasında ve yönetiminde önemli roller üstlenmiştir. TÜBİTAK, AB, çeşitli bakanlıklar, kalkınma ajansları ve özel kuruluşlar tarafından finanse edilen çok sayıda projeye yönetici ve uzman olarak katkıda bulunmuş ve katkılarından dolayı birçok ödül almıştır.

Tekin, 2021 yılında Gaziantep OSB Teknopark Genel Müdürü olarak atanmıştır. Aynı zamanda uluslararası alanda faaliyet gösteren bir dijital dönüşüm firması olan TheBlueRed UK ve girişimci fikirleri destekleyen Fauna Startup Studio’nun kurucu ortağıdır. Tekin, çeşitli girişimlere danışmanlık ve mentorluk yapmaktadır.
